Making a Difference in Mental Health
Thank you for your support in 2024!
We are pleased to tell you about a number of Foundation accomplishments over the past year. Foremost is awarding scholarships to six PMHNP students in our state. These exemplary students represent the future of our profession. We urge you to learn more about each of these exceptional individuals.
In addition, we embarked on a new era, growing our partnership with the Association of Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurses (AAPPN). Our organizations joined together for a Scholarship & Awards Breakfast on October 5, honoring both our scholars and the AAPPN award recipients.
We also continued to build our connections with the Mary Mahoney Professional Nurses Organization and the University of Washington Manning Price Spratlen Center for Anti-Racism & Equity in Nursing.
These relationships are a cornerstone of the Foundation’s mission to support the next generation of psychiatric ARNPs who demonstrate the character, energy, and courage exemplified by Lois Price Spratlen.
As we look toward 2025, we are grateful for your support and your participation. Please consider making an end-of-year donation to help grow our scholarship awards in the coming year. We also encourage you to consider volunteering with the Foundation to help us honor our scholars and enhance the future of our profession.
Thank you for being a part of our vibrant professional community. Wishing each of you peace and joy in the coming year.
Your Foundation Board,
Mary Ellen O’Keefe, President
Elaine Walsh, Secretary/Treasurer
